KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Ensure timely completion of projects or specific project phases. • Select and specify all materials and finishes for interior architecture, including furniture, lighting, and artwork. • Develop innovative and practical design solutions that align with client objectives and project budgets. • Conduct programming efforts such as space planning, layouts, and furnishings coordination. • Coordinate color and material palettes effectively. • Integrate sustainable design solutions throughout projects. • Create compelling presentations through 2D and 3D design drawings. • Prepare and deliver engaging client presentations. • Ensure accurate updates and corrections of documents during the schematic design and development phases. • Assist in soliciting bids and support project management in subcontracting fabrication and installation. • Communicate with other disciplines, vendors, and contractors for seamless project execution. • Adhere to HOK Standards across all projects and processes. • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members and evaluate their performance. • Participate in the recruitment of new design professionals. • Promote sustainable workplace practices. • Commit to delivering exceptional client service. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: • Bachelor's degree in interior design or a related field. • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent education and experience. • LEED accreditation must be obtained within 12 months of employment.
