Senior Interior Deisgner

We are seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join our growing team. This is an opportunity for a highly experienced designer who listens deeply, thinks creatively, and brings client goals to life through thoughtful design and meticulous execution. This is a full-time, in-person role based in New Orleans. Remote work is not available. JOB DESCRIPTON Design Leadership Develop and present design concepts, mood boards, and space plans Select finishes, materials, furniture, lighting and color palettes Ensure designs meet both aesthetic and functional goals Client Management Lead client meetings and presentations Understand client needs, lifestyles and budget Maintain strong, ongoing client relationships Project management Oversee multiple residential projects and deliverables Collaborate with architects, contractors, and vendors Technical execution Produce or oversee drawings (floor plans, elevations, 3D renderings) Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations Review construction documents and shop drawings Procurement & installation Source an specify furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) Manage ordering, tracking, and delivery schedules Oversee installations and styling of final spaces JOB REQUIREMENTS Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Fine Arts, or related field Minimum of 5+ years of experience in high-end residential interior design, including new construction and renovations Expert proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D rendering software, Adobe Creative Suite Proven ability to lead and manage residential design projects from concept through final installation Strong client-facing skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, vendors, contractors and trades Highly collaborative with a refined, innovative design sensibility Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects, timelines and budgets simultaneously Knowledge of FF&E sourcing and procurement Create finish and material schedules for construction documents ABOUT OUR COMPANY Eclectic Home is a full-service design firm and high-end furniture boutique with over 25 years of experience delivering refined, luxury interiors.
