Senior Furniture Designer

Job Responsibilities Creativity and Design: Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and prevailing styles; develop and refine product creative proposals; create product prototypes, sketches, and detailed design drawings. Technology and Execution: Familiarize with furniture structure and craftsmanship; guide and oversee the prototyping and finalization of new products; use design software such as CAD, Rhino, 3D-Max, and SketchUp to produce technical drawings and 3D models; collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet market demands. Communication and Project Management: Communicate with business teams to understand requirements and provide solutions; manage project timelines and coordinate sample reviews and modifications. Qualifications Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, or a related field. Experience and Skills: Relevant experience in furniture design, with knowledge of production processes and material properties; proficiency in at least one professional design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, etc.); sensitivity to furniture design trends, with innovative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
