Selections Coordinator/Interior Designer

Company: S & S Luxury Homes Location: Chapel Hill, Pittsboro, Durham, NC (Hybrid: Onsite + Remote Flexibility) Job Type: Full-Time Salary: $45,000 – $65,000 per year (based on experience) About Us S & S Luxury Homes builds high-end custom residences throughout Orange, Chatham, Durham, and Wake County ($1M–$4M homes). We are known for thoughtful design, architectural clarity, and a refined client experience. We are seeking a detail-oriented Interior Designer to support finish selections, design documentation, and job site coordination for custom and showcase homes. Responsibilities • Guide and assist clients with finish selections: • Stone, countertops, flooring, tile • Paint palettes and wall finishes • Cabinetry, hardware, plumbing, lighting • Exterior materials and details • Create design documentation and selection packages • Produce SketchUp models and Enscape renderings • Draft and edit drawings in AutoCAD • Develop client mockups and presentation materials (Canva) • Maintain organized selection records and approvals • Coordinate with vendors and showrooms • Track selections, orders, and lead times • Visit job sites to verify measurements and design intent • Measure spaces and confirm plan accuracy Requirements • 2+ years of experience in interior design or residential design • Proficiency in: • SketchUp • AutoCAD • Enscape • Canva • Strong understanding of residential materials and finishes • Ability to read and interpret residential construction plans • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills • Professional client-facing communication • Valid driver’s license • Portfolio required (applications without a portfolio will not be considered) Preferred • Experience with custom or luxury home projects • Familiarity with NC vendors and suppliers • Experience walking job sites and working with builders Benefits • Flexible hours (onsite + remote blend) • PTO and sick time • Health insurance stipend • Mileage reimbursement • Growth opportunities within design team To Apply: Via Indeed or send resume and portfolio to interested@ssluxuryhomes.com Applicants only.
