Role Description The Runner / Assistant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Nashville, TN. This role supports the design team through daily administrative, logistical, and project-related tasks. Responsibilities include running errands to showrooms, vendors, and job sites; picking up and delivering samples, materials, and accessories; and assisting with onsite installations and styling. The Runner / Assistant helps maintain organized project files and sample libraries, supports scheduling and coordination with vendors and contractors, and may assist with basic documentation and data entry. The role requires reliability, attention to detail, and a client-focused mindset to support smooth project execution.
Qualifications
Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and comfort navigating local vendors, showrooms, and job sites.Ability to lift, carry, and move furnishings, samples, and materials as needed for installations and deliveries.Basic administrative skills, such as maintaining records, handling receipts, and supporting scheduling and communication.Clear, professional communication skills and a courteous, service-oriented approach with clients, vendors, and team members.Interest in interior design and willingness to learn about materials, finishes, and project workflows.Comfort working in a fast-paced, on-site environment and collaborating with a small, close-knit team.High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in interiors, retail, logistics, or customer service is a plus.
