About Dwelling Design Dwelling Design is a small, high-end residential design firm in Boise, Idaho. For over 20 years we’ve specialized in custom homes and remodels that blend creative design, real-world constructability, and personalized client service. Role Description We’re looking for an experienced Residential Designer or Architectural Drafter skilled in Revit and Enscape to help lead the design and documentation of our custom home projects. This is a full-time hybrid role (Boise-based with some remote flexibility). • Lead the design and drafting of high-end residential projects from concept to construction documents • Create 3D models and photorealistic renderings using Revit and Enscape • Collaborate directly with clients, builders, engineers, and consultants • Manage design revisions, details, and project coordination • Help shape and refine firm standards and design systems as the company grows Qualifications • Minimum 3 years of experience in residential design or architectural drafting • Strong proficiency in Revit; experience with Enscape required or strongly preferred • Background in custom homes, remodels, or small-scale architecture • Excellent sense of design, detail, and construction methods • Ability to communicate clearly and manage multiple projects • Degree in Architecture, Residential Design, or related field preferred Compensation • Competitive salary based on experience ($65k-$95k) • Flexible hybrid schedule • Licensing support and direct client exposure • No formal benefits package yet, but compensation will be adjusted to reflect that Why Join Us If you’re ready to move beyond production drafting and into a role where your ideas truly shape the work, this is it.
