Designers Cove has a contract with a leading warehouse organization. Role Description This part-time to full-time Retail Sales Consultant role is a hybrid position based in Ann Arbor, MI, with some flexibility to work from home for administrative and follow-up tasks. In this role, you will assist customers in identifying the products and solutions that best meet their needs, in their home, in the store and via phone or digital channels. You will also follow up with customers to support ongoing satisfaction, contribute to sales goals, and collaborate with teammates and management on promotions and merchandising. This includes setting up and managing displays at a local warehouse. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious independent person to expand your client base by using marketing and prospecting skills. Qualifications Strong Sales Consulting and Retail Sales skills, with the ability to understand customer needs and recommend suitable products.Demonstrated focus on Customer Experience and Customer Satisfaction, with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.Customer Service skills, including clear communication, active listening, and professional handling of questions or concerns.Basic computer literacy and comfort using point-of-sale systems and online tools for orders and follow-up.Ability to work a hybrid schedule in Ann Arbor, MI, including some evenings or weekends as needed.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliability in managing 'Road Show displays', and transactions.Prior experience in retail, sales is helpful but not required; willingness to learn is essential.Marketing and prospecting skills would be helpful to grow your client base.
