RESIDENTIAL DESIGNER Location: San Jose, California Schedule: Full-time, onsite A well-established, residential design-build firm is seeking a talented Residential Designer to join its collaborative team in Saratoga. The company has more than 30 years of experience creating thoughtfully designed custom homes and luxury renovations throughout the Bay Area. This position is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented designer who enjoys working directly with homeowners and collaborating with architects, construction professionals, vendors and internal project teams. RESPONSIBILITIES Support custom-home and major-remodel projects from initial concept through constructionDevelop floor plans, elevations, design presentations and detailed construction documentsTranslate client goals, lifestyles and aesthetic preferences into cohesive design solutionsCoordinate architectural details, interior finishes, fixtures, cabinetry, lighting and materialsPrepare client presentations, finish schedules and specification packagesParticipate in client meetings, site visits and design-review sessionsCoordinate design decisions with project managers, estimators and field teamsReview drawings for accuracy, constructability and consistencyCommunicate with vendors, consultants and trade partnersTrack design selections, approvals, revisions and project deadlinesHelp maintain design standards, material libraries and project documentationProvide design support during construction and resolve design-related questionsQUALIFICATIONS Degree in architecture, interior design or a related discipline preferredExperience with high-end residential design, custom homes or luxury renovationsStrong space-planning and design-development skillsExperience producing construction drawings and detailed specificationsProficiency with Revit design softwareStrong knowledge of residential materials, finishes, cabinetry, lighting and fixturesExcellent presentation, organization and client-communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and changing prioritiesUnderstanding of residential construction and constructabilityCollaborative approach and strong attention to detail#RRG19
