Residential Design Specialist Job Opening

Design Expert Wanted Are you an experienced interior designer with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences? Do you have a keen eye for design and a talent for communicating complex ideas in a clear and concise manner? If so, we want to hear from you! As a Design Expert at Floor & Decor, you will be responsible for working with customers to understand their flooring needs and provide them with expert advice and recommendations. You will also be responsible for creating custom design solutions for our customers using our proprietary software. Some of your key responsibilities will include: • Meeting with customers to discuss their project requirements and provide guidance on product selection • Creating detailed designs and plans for customer projects, taking into account factors such as lifestyle, budget, and personal style • Presenting design options and solutions to customers and answering any questions they may have Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and qualifications: • Minimum one year of interior design experience or prior retail/sales experience • Degree in Design is a plus • Knowledge of hard surface flooring is a plus • Proficient in basic mathematical skills • Must be self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills • Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office suite Why Join Us?
