Purchasing Associate

MINT Home Decor is a fast-paced, full-service interior design studio and retail showroom with locations in Orange Beach, AL and Pensacola, FL. We specialize in creating high-end residential and investment properties across the Gulf Coast through turnkey interior design, furnishings, renovations, and styling. We are currently seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Purchasing Associate to join our growing team. This position plays a key role in supporting our design and operations departments by managing purchasing workflows, tracking orders, coordinating inventory, and ensuring projects move efficiently from concept to installation. Responsibilities Create and manage purchase orders for design projects and stock inventory Monitor order statuses, estimated ship dates, delays, and discontinued items Coordinate with vendors regarding orders, freight, and deliveries Check in, tag, and organize incoming merchandise and inventory Verify invoices, paperwork, and inventory accuracy within MicroBiz Assist with updating upholstery lists, pricing books, and inventory records Prepare delivery forms and installation documentation as needed Communicate discrepancies and order updates with designers and operations team Maintain organized digital and physical project records Support showroom operations and assist with floor sales when needed Monitor and respond to purchasing-related emails in a timely manner Qualifications Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple active projects Strong communication and problem-solving skills Experience with purchasing, inventory management, retail operations, or administrative support preferred Experience in interior design, furniture, home decor, or construction industries is a plus Proficient in Google Drive, spreadsheets, and computer systems Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who is proactive, dependable, and eager to grow with a fast-moving design company.
