Project Manager - Interior Architecture/Design Firm

Overview We are seeking a Project Manager to lead and coordinate architectural projects from conception through completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in architecture and project management, demonstrating expertise in various design software and construction processes. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to negotiate effectively, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results on time and within budget. An architecture license is a plus. Duties Oversee all phases of residential and hospitality architectural projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Develop project schedules and manage resources effectively to meet project milestones. Collaborate with internal team, contractors, and stakeholders to define project requirements and expectations. Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and/or Bluebeam for drafting and design tasks. Our office primarily utilizes Revit. Conduct construction estimating and budgeting to ensure financial feasibility of projects. Manage contracts and negotiations with vendors and subcontractors. Coordinate renovation and interior design efforts as needed throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards for multi-state & jurisdiction projects Skills Proficiency in project scheduling tools and techniques. Experience with architectural design software including AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and hand sketching. Strong time and negotiation skills for contract management and vendor relations. Knowledge of construction estimating practices and budgeting principles. Familiarity with construction management processes and renovation techniques. Ability to draft and redline detailed architectural plans while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent project management skills with a focus on delivering quality results under pressure.
