Project Designer

Alexander Design is seeking a full-time Project Designer with 4+ years of experience to join our dynamic Los Angeles studio. The ideal candidate is a creative, motivated, and detail-oriented professional excited to contribute to high-end residential projects within a small, collaborative, and design-focused team. This role offers the opportunity to manage projects from concept through construction, with an emphasis on creative design development, and support both FF&E and installation processes. RESPONSIBILITIES Manage projects through all phases, with emphasis on schematic design, design development, construction administration, and installation.Collaborate with the Principal and design team to develop and present innovative design concepts.Prepare presentations and materials for client meetings and assist in leading presentations to communicate design intent.Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, consultants, and vendors across multiple residential projects.Produce CAD and/or Revit drawings, renderings, and construction documentation to support design.Review and coordinate architectural and construction documents to ensure design vision and project goals. Participate in site visits, construction meetings, and installations, providing design direction and resolving issues as they arise. Oversee custom furnishings by producing intent drawings, specifying materials/finishes, and reviewing shop drawings.Develop FF&E budgets, source and procure furnishings, fixtures, and accessories, and oversee orders from procurement through installation.Manage project team via both execution and delegation of design related tasks
