Fancy Parsley Architecture + Design is seeking a licensed architect to join our growing boutique design studio in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
We are a collaborative architecture and interior design firm focused on creating thoughtful residential, commercial, hospitality, and adaptive reuse projects throughout Pennsylvania and the surrounding region. Our work ranges from custom homes and historic renovations to restaurants, offices, nonprofit organizations, and community projects. Every project receives direct involvement from our principals, and every member of our team has the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
We are looking for someone who enjoys architecture from concept through construction—someone who is equally comfortable discussing design with clients, coordinating consultants, solving technical challenges, and mentoring younger staff.
What You\'ll DoLead architectural projects from Schematic Design through Construction Documentation.Develop thoughtful design solutions that balance creativity with constructability.Coordinate structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, civil, and specialty consultants.Prepare and oversee CAD/Revit documentation for permitting and construction.Meet with clients, present design concepts, and guide projects through the design process.Coordinate municipal reviews and permitting.Provide construction administration services, as required.Collaborate closely with our design team while helping mentor emerging professionals.QualificationsLicensed Architect preferred (or actively pursuing licensure).5+ years of professional experience.Strong proficiency in CAD/Revit.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Experience coordinating consultant teams.Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.Passion for thoughtful design and client service.What Makes Fancy Parsley DifferentWe are intentionally a boutique firm.
