As a small team, we offer a high degree of autonomy and the opportunity to see projects through from a early design to the final punch list. Job Description We are seeking a talented and motivated Project Designer with 5 to 10 years of professional experience. This is a pivotal role in our studio. You will be a core contributor to our design language, a mentor to junior staff, and a primary point of contact for clients and consultants. The right candidate will work independently on architectural design projects and often coordinates project design efforts. Responsibilities include: Design Leadership: Lead the conceptual and schematic design phases, creating compelling narratives and visual presentations. Project Management: Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables for multiple concurrent projects. Technical Excellence: Oversee the production of high-quality construction documents and ensure design intent is maintained through detailing. Collaboration: Coordinate with structural, MEP, and civil engineers to integrate complex systems seamlessly into the design. Mentorship: Guide junior designers in Revit standards, detailing, and professional development. This position offers the flexibility of both in-person and work from home. The expectation is that the position would begin primary as in-person while learning about the projects and standards of the office. Qualifications Proficiency in Architecture and Building Information Modeling (BIM) processesExperience with project management tasks, including scheduling, budgeting, and client coordinationStrong knowledge of and experience in preparing and reviewing SubmittalsUnderstanding of sustainable design practices and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) principlesExcellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skillsProfessional degree in Architecture or related fieldLicensure as an Architect is preferred but not required5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role
