Project Architect

Job Overview We are seeking an architectural leader to help guide and grow our hospitality and private club portfolio, with a strong focus on golf clubhouses and associated amenities. This position is ideal for an architect who can lead projects from initial concept through completion, foster strong client relationships, and remain actively involved throughout construction to ensure design intent is realized at the highest level. This role requires a hands-on professional with a deep understanding of how buildings are built, strong construction administration experience, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams. The Architect will play a key leadership role within the studio and contribute to the strategic growth of the practice. Key Responsibilities Lead golf clubhouse and amenity projects from concept design through construction completionServe as the primary point of contact for clients, providing clear communication and trusted leadership throughout all project phasesOversee design development, documentation, and coordination with consultantsMaintain active involvement during construction administration, including site visits, submittal review, RFIs, and field coordinationEnsure design intent, quality, budget, and schedule are upheld through all phases of the projectCollaborate closely with interior designers, landscape architects, engineers, and specialty consultantsProvide mentorship and leadership to project teams, fostering a culture of design excellence and accountabilityContribute to business development efforts, including client presentations, proposals, and strategic growth initiativesMaintain strong working relationships with contractors and vendors to support smooth project executionQualifications & Experience Professional degree in ArchitectureLicensed Architect preferredMinimum of 10–15 years of professional experience, with a strong background in hospitality, private clubs, or golf-related projectsDemonstrated experience leading projects from concept through constructionStrong understanding of construction methods, detailing, and building systemsProven construction administration experience, including on-site involvementExcellent client-facing and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail and design qualityStrong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skillsProficiency in industry-standard design and documentation software ( CAD/ REVIT)Ideal Candidate Attributes Passion for designing memorable golf clubhouses, club amenities, restaurants, and lifestyle environmentsConfident decision-maker with a collaborative leadership styleBusiness-minded architect who understands project budgets, schedules, and client expectationsComfortable representing the firm in client meetings and on construction sitesCommitted to design excellence, long-term client relationships, and firm growthBenefits: Competitive salary with performance-based bonus opportunities.Comprehensive medical and insurance benefits.401(k) retirement plan.Paid time off and paid holidays.Supportive, collaborative team environment.**Relocation assistance available** Eligibility to work in the U.S. required.
