About Us We are a high-end interior design firm based in downtown San Diego, specializing in luxury residential and hospitality projects. Our team is passionate about delivering excellence in design, detail, and execution. We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our growing team and support the full cycle of sourcing, purchasing, and logistics for design projects. Position Overview The Procurement Specialist will oversee all purchasing activities related to furnishings, fixtures, finishes, and construction-related materials. This role requires strong knowledge of the building/design industry, vendor management, and procurement. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, resourceful, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end procurement process for interior design projects, including sourcing, purchasing, and tracking orders. Build and maintain relationships with vendors, manufacturers, and contractors. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure the best value while maintaining project quality standards. Collaborate with designers, project managers, and accounting to ensure seamless project execution. Using Houzz Pro and Quickbooks software, Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and delivery schedules. Monitor lead times and proactively resolve procurement and logistics issues to avoid delays. Utilize procurement software (Houzz Pro) and databases for tracking, reporting, and communication. Ensure compliance with firm policies, budgets, and project requirements. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of procurement experience in the interior design, architecture, or building industry (required). Strong understanding of design industry vendors, FF&E, and construction-related materials. Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Houzz Pro, and Quickbooks Online. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. High attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Interior Design, or related field preferred.
