Office Manager & Interior Design Assistant

Studio Loft is looking for a passionate, self-driven, and highly organized Interior Design Assistant to support our Lead Designer on client projects. We are located in beautiful Bloomfield Hills, MI and are focused on high end residential interiors within the surrounding area. This position requires you to work in an office setting and on site with our designer, clients, and tradespeople. You will be expected to maintain office records, create design layouts and custom millwork, organize and keep the materials library up to date, meet with reps, field measure, prepare quotes & invoices, and handle all ordering of client items. This role primarily requires office work and bookkeeping, but knowledge of interior design is very helpful. Responsibilities Maintaining office records (Including: Bills, payables & receivables, monthly & yearly financial reports, etc...) Maintaining relationships with clients, vendors, and tradespeople Generating proposals, purchase orders, and invoices Ordering of all selections for projects Assist in design projects from concept to completion, including coordination of project installs Correspondence, follow up and scheduling with both clients and vendors Working with custom workshops and fabricators Designing custom millwork Creating AutoCAD floor plans and elevations Field measuring client homes Assisting in selections of finishes and furnishings Attend client meetings Skills Proficient in AutoCAD, Excel, and Quicken Highly organized & efficient Strong communication skills & professionalism Ability to work as a team or independently Self-managed and motivated Creative talent, imagination and eye for design Ability to multi-task and maintain work on multiple jobs Interest in Interior Design Pay: $600.00 - $700.00 per week Benefits: Flexible schedule Application Question(s): Do you have experience working in AutoCAD or similar CAD programs?
