Role Description This full-time Mid-Level Interior Designer role is a hybrid position based in Hollywood, FL, with 2 in-office days and 3 days to work from home. The designer will develop design concepts, space plans, material palettes, and prepare mood boards, drawings, and presentations for client review. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with vendors and contractors, sourcing furnishings and finishes, attending site visits and walkthroughs, and overseeing implementation to ensure design intent is maintained. The role involves meeting with clients, documenting requirements, producing detailed drawings and specifications, and updating project documentation and schedules. The designer will collaborate closely with the internal team, manage portions of projects with limited supervision, and ensure work aligns with brand standards, budgets, and timelines. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in interior design, including concept development, space planning, and material/finish selection.Proficiency with design and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar), as well as presentation software (e.g., Enscape, Lumion, Photoshop, InDesign, or equivalent).Strong project coordination skills, including scheduling, vendor and contractor communication, and budget awareness.Ability to create clear visual and written presentations, including mood boards, design narratives, and client-ready documentation.Effective client-facing communication skills, with the ability to listen, interpret needs, and present design solutions confidently.Attention to detail in drawings, specifications, and finish schedules, with a focus on quality and consistency.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site presence in Hollywood, FL with remote tasks.Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field, or equivalent professional experience.Familiarity with building codes, accessibility considerations, and basic construction processes is preferred.Portfolio demonstrating relevant interior design projects at a mid-level of responsibility.
