About this role

An established luxury residential and boutique hospitality design practice is seeking an experienced Interior Design professional to support the execution of sophisticated luxury projects throughout South Florida. The ideal candidate combines elevated design sensibilities, sophisticated client management, exceptional organization, strong technical proficiency, and operational accountability with the ability to independently manage multiple projects simultaneously while supporting the Principal Designer's vision and standards. This position works directly alongside the Principal Designer and plays a critical role in project execution, client experience, consultant coordination, and procurement management, with a mentor/protégé opportunity and succession potential. Key Responsibilities Manage residential design projects from concept through installation Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, consultants, and vendors Prepare and review project documentation and specifications Assist with material, finish, fixture, and furnishing selections Track project schedules, budgets, procurement, and installations Maintain accurate project records and communication Support presentation development and client meetings Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management systems and processes Qualifications Minimum 5 years of professional interior design experience Luxury residential experience Strong proficiency in: AutoCAD, SketchUp, AI visualization, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite / Google Workspace Studio Designer / Design Manager or similar project management platforms Excellent organizational and project management skills Strong written and verbal communication abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities independently High attention to detail and follow-through Preferred Experience High-end custom residential projects FF&E budgets exceeding $250,000 Procurement management Construction administration Installation coordination Working directly with discerning clientele Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation commensurate with experience, including: Health insurance Paid Time Off Paid holidays Hybrid work flexibility Bonus and Incentive Opportunities Qualified candidates should submit a résumé and portfolio for confidential consideration.
