Luxury DesignerAustin, TX | Full-time | On-site The RoleKyle Bunting is seeking a Luxury Designer with experience in high-end residential and hospitality/commercial design. This is an oft client-facing design role requiring strong visual judgment, technical Illustrator skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to guide other designers. You know and swim in some world of luxury: art, fashion, design. At Kyle Bunting, a Designer translates client-generated ideas, references, and specifications into refined Adobe Illustrator renderings for custom projects and collections. The work must accurately represent the client’s vision while remaining unmistakably aligned with the Kyle Bunting brand. The ideal candidate comes from a multidisciplinary, deadline-driven environment where interiors, brand experience, visual communication, and client service intersect. Experience working across creative disciplines and presenting polished solutions to sophisticated clients is especially relevant. ResponsibilitiesCreate polished Illustrator renderings for custom rugs, wall coverings, artwork, and product collections.Interpret client drawings, inspiration, specifications, and creative direction.Refine client-generated concepts so the final presentation is accurate, buildable, and on-brand.Apply strong judgment in color theory, scale, composition, pattern, and material use.Collaborate with clients, sales, production, and creative teams throughout the design process.Present concepts confidently and communicate design decisions clearly.Discuss project scope, pricing, budgets, revisions, and contractual expectations with clients.Balance creative ambition with production requirements, timing, and profitability.Collaborate with the other designers to continue and align high standards in design quality, Illustrator technique, efficiency, and technical execution.Establish stronger standards and repeatable practices for rendering, documentation, and design review.Manage multiple projects while maintaining accuracy, organization, and responsiveness.QualificationsProfessional background in high-end residential, hospitality, or luxury furnishings, with advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.Experience coordinating complex design projects and presenting to both creative and business audiences.Confidence discussing project scope, commercial terms, and mentoring other designers.Exceptional taste and a strong understanding of interior design and custom-product workflows.Ideal BackgroundThe ideal candidate comes from a demanding multidisciplinary studio or premium agency environment, combining interior-design fluency, graphic precision, and business confidence.
