We are looking for a Lead Interior Design Project Specialist with 8 to 12 years of experience who excels at weaving design with storytelling. In this exciting role, you will spearhead complex, experience-driven projects, guiding teams, and turning bold concepts into cohesive, guest-centered environments.
Experience in themed entertainment and hospitality is essential for this role.
This is an ideal opportunity for a designer who is passionate about translating big ideas into technically sound, immersive spaces. You will layer materials, lighting, detailing, and spatial sequencing to create unforgettable experiences.
Your Responsibilities:
Lead interior design from concept through construction, shaping creative vision and project outcomes.Develop and present compelling interior concepts and design presentations that tell a story.Produce and document detailed interior design construction documents, ensuring coordination and integration across disciplines.Select and specify materials, finishes, lighting, and furniture to enhance design aesthetics.Coordinate interiors with architecture, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver cohesive solutions.Mentor and support fellow designers while fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment.Partner with clients to translate ideas into thoughtful and buildable design solutions.Oversee all interior documentation, detailing, and code compliance throughout the project phases.Participate in construction administration and site observations to ensure design intent is met.Contribute to project pursuits, proposals, and client presentations.Proficiency in Revit/BIM 360, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.Qualifications:
8-12 years of professional experience in interior design.Proven experience in themed entertainment and hospitality projects; experience in additional markets is welcomed.Strong track record of successful collaboration on large and complex project scopes and mentoring team members.Exceptional design, technical, and documentation skills.Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities.Experience leading interior design concept development and presentations.Compensation: $90,000 - $130,000 a year, depending on location, accreditation, experience, and responsibilities.
