Lead/ Experienced Carpenter

FD Design is a growing design-build firm specializing in high-quality residential renovations and custom construction projects throughout the Lehigh Valley. We are looking for an experienced carpenter who takes pride in craftsmanship, professionalism, and delivering exceptional work. This is not a production framing job and it's not a place for shortcuts. We're looking for someone who understands that the details matter and who wants to be part of a team that values quality over speed. What You'll Do: Perform all phases of residential carpentry and remodelingExecute projects according to plans and specificationsInstall cabinetry, trim, doors, millwork, flooring, and finish carpentry elementsAssist with framing, drywall, and general renovation work as neededMaintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsiteCommunicate effectively with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and team membersIdentify issues before they become problems and help find solutionsRepresent the company professionally in clients' homesWhat We're Looking For: Positive attitude and team-first mindsetApproximately 10+ years of hands-on carpentry experienceStrong understanding of residential remodeling and renovation practicesAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to read plans and execute work accuratelyHigh standards for quality and craftsmanshipReliable, punctual, and professionalValid driver's license and reliable transportationThis Position is For Someone Who: Notices details others missTakes ownership of their workWants to build projects they can be proud ofUnderstands that quality craftsmanship builds reputationValues professionalism and respect on every jobsiteCompensation: Competitive pay based on experience, skill level, and demonstrated craftsmanship.
