Learn more at:https://www.masterpiecebuilders.com/ Responsibilities Reading blueprints, plans, specs, and instructionsLayout, supervise technical aspects of job, coordinate construction work daily·Maintain job records: field log, plans, specifications, change orders and reports.Assign work to helpers and other carpenters on the job; supervise them to be responsible for their performance.Using hand and power toolsRough framing of walls, ceilings, flooring, and roofsFinish carpentry including installing crown moldings and detailed trim packages, installing window/door casings and baseboards, installing fixtures and hardware, cabinet installationOversee replacement of exterior doors, interior doors, trim, cabinets, appliances, and necessary demolition, execute where necessaryChecking the accuracy of completed workOther qualifications and responsibilities might arise as deemed necessary by circumstancesSupervising crews and subs on siteQualifications Must have at least 5 years of carpentry experience and knowledge of remodelingProficiency in all trades, including; frame to finish carpentry, and some knowledge of electrical wiring, plumbing, masonry, and painting a strong plusMust have a strong work ethic and take pride in all workThe ability to work efficiently without wasting materials and possessing reliable transportation and toolsStrong communication skillsMust possess the ability to read building codes, blueprints, and drawingsValid driver's license, reliable transportation, and tools of the trade requiredMust be willing to pass a criminal background check and drug testing in compliance with regulationsJob Type: Full-time Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour Benefits: Opportunities for advancementPaid time offProfessional development assistanceRetirement planTuition reimbursementExperience: Custom Residential construction: 5 years (Required)Ability to Commute: Stuart, FL (Required)Work Location: In person
