Landscape Designer, Residential

We are hiring a Landscape Designer to support residential outdoor projects while developing client-facing design and sales capabilities. This role is part of a design-build environment and focuses on increasing design output while building the skills needed to contribute to client presentations and project sales. It is not a back-office drafting role-this is a growth opportunity for someone who wants to evolve into a client-facing, revenue-generating designer over time. You will work closely with senior designers and field teams, gaining exposure to both design production and the full project lifecycle, from concept through execution. Responsibilities Support the development of residential landscape concepts and project layouts Assist in creating 2D plans and 3D models for client presentations Participate in client meetings and presentations alongside senior designers Revise and update designs based on client feedback and project requirements Help manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines Collaborate with installation teams to ensure designs align with field execution Learn the design-build sales process, including how projects are presented and sold Contribute to increasing design output and project backlog Maintain organized project files, drawings, and documentationRequirements 0-3 years of experience in landscape design, landscape architecture, or a related field Degree or formal training in landscape architecture, design, or similar discipline preferred Familiarity with AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar design tools Interest or exposure to 3D modeling and client presentation work Strong communication skills and willingness to interact with clients Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Interest in developing client-facing and sales skills over time Exposure to residential design-build environments preferred (pure drafting roles are not the focus)Benefits Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Health insurance Retirement plan options Paid time off Additional company-sponsored benefits
