Kitchen & Bath Designer / Technical Review Specialist 📍 Chagrin Falls, Ohio 🕘 Monday–Thursday | 9:00 AM–3:00 PM Capozzi Design Build is looking for a part-time professional to help homeowners make design decisions while ensuring remodeling projects are technically sound and ready for construction. This is not a decorating position. We are seeking someone who understands residential remodeling and can bridge the gap between design ideas and real-world construction. What You'll Do Meet with homeowners in our showroomHelp clients select cabinetry, tile, plumbing fixtures, lighting, flooring, and finishesSketch remodeling concepts and space-planning solutionsReview measurements, layouts, and proposed designsOversee third-party drafting resourcesReview plans for accuracy, functionality, and constructabilityIdentify potential issues before they reach the fieldCollaborate with project managers, vendors, and trade partners Ideal Candidate Experience in residential remodeling, kitchen & bath design, interior architecture, or design-buildStrong understanding of how remodeling projects are constructedAbility to review plans and identify potential issuesComfortable discussing design solutions with homeownersStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsExperience with construction drawings, cabinetry, or remodeling design preferred Bonus Experience Chief ArchitectSketchUpNKBA certificationKitchen & bath design Success in This Role You help homeowners make confident design decisions while ensuring projects move into production with accurate plans, coordinated selections, and fewer field surprises.
