Kitchen and Bath Designer

Location: City of Albany Design Beautiful Spaces. Build Lasting Relationships.At GNH Lumber & Home, we believe every kitchen and bathroom should be as functional as it is beautiful. We’re looking for a creative, customer-focused Kitchen & Bath Designer who enjoys helping homeowners turn ideas into reality while delivering an exceptional experience from concept to completion.This role combines design, sales, project coordination, and relationship building. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with people, enjoys solving design challenges, and takes pride in seeing projects through the initial consultation to the installation.What You’ll DoMeet with homeowners to understand their vision, lifestyle, budget, and project goals.Design functional and attractive kitchens, bathrooms, and other living spaces using Design Flex (2020).Present designs, product selections, and estimates with confidence and professionalism.Guide customers through cabinetry, countertops, hardware, storage solutions, and finishing selections.Prepare accurate quotations and place orders with manufacturers.Coordinate with contractors, builders, installers, and vendors throughout the project.Manage multiple projects while maintaining excellent communication and follow-up.Build long-term relationships that generate referrals and repeat business.Stay current on design trends, products, and industry best practices.What We’re Looking ForStrong customer service and relationship-building skills.Excellent communication, organization, and time management.Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.A creative eye for design with strong attention to detail.Experience in kitchen & bath design, interior design, cabinetry, construction, or a related field preferred.Experience with design software such as 20/20 Design is preferred.Sales experience and confidence presenting solutions to customers is highly valued.Self-motivated with a desire to continuously learn and grow.Why Join GNH Lumber & Home?At GNH Lumber & Home, you’ll work with a team that values relationships, craftsmanship, and exceptional customer service.
