About this role
A growing New York City based boutique architectural & interior design firm seeks to hire a full time Junior Interior Designer to work on a variety of high-end residential projects. For the Junior Interior Designer position in New York City, the applicant must have a minimum of (3) years professional experience working in an architectural or interior residential design firm in New York City. Detailed expertise in custom interiors, specifically decorative furnishings, purchase order procurement and management, material and fabric selections, budgeting, project and vendor coordination is expected. Applicants must have superior AutoCAD skills. Qualified candidates will be enthusiastic, hardworking, well-organized and highly motivated with excellent verbal and written communications skills. Candidates will work directly with the firm's principal and project team to produce detailed designs, along with client coordination and manage all aspects of the project throughout the duration of the work.
-Professional Undergraduate or Master’s Degree in Interior Design
-Minimum (3) Years of Experience in High-end Residential Design in New York City
-Technical Expertise in ACADD, Purchase Orders, CFAs & Furniture Selection
-Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop & Microsoft 365
-A minimum of (2) Professional References
