Junior Interior Designer

About Us Haven Design Center is a leading design center in Tampa Bay. We specialize in turnkey interior design and construction projects and are known for delivering high-quality projects. Our showroom and offices are located on 4th Street in downtown St Petersburg. The Junior Designer will assist the Principal & Senior Designers with client projects and be responsible for administrative aspects. The perfect candidate will be driven, adaptable, be able to multitask, detail oriented, pro-active and a team player. Responsibilities • Assisting designers with Google SketchUp and CAD renderings • Assisting designers with product selections and presentation creation • Invoice preparation for client presentations • Assisting with delivery coordination • Communicating with clients for meeting scheduling • Attending client in-home consultations with designers • Other duties as assigned to assist designers in their overall responsibilities • Personal assistant responsibilities integral to the efficiency of the principal designer Opportunities for Growth • Work alongside our talented designers driving the highest volume design center in Tampa Bay • Attend manufacturer training and education meetings to further knowledge in interior design resources • Actively be involved in the creation of residential, hospitality and commercial design project in Tampa Bay Qualifications • Completed or working towards BA or BFA in Interior Design • Proficient in SketchUp • Reliable transportation a must Hours • 10-6 Monday-Thursday, 10-4 Friday Job Type • Full-time • In-person • Saint Petersburg, FL 33701 Compensation • $50,000.00 per year Benefits • Opportunity to enroll in an employer-sponsored 401(k) program with matching funds after one year. • $300 monthly bonus to help offset health insurance expenses (to be used however the employee decides) after 90 days • 10 days of PTO per year, in addition to company holidays and your birthday • Employee discount • Professional development assistance Application Question(s): • Must be proficient in SketchUp
