Junior Designer

Public Regard is an architectural and interior design studio based in Charleston, South Carolina. P.R. is seeking a junior designer with an interiors focus. This is a dynamic, hands-on role supporting the development and execution of high-level architectural and interior design projects both in high-end residential and hospitality design. The ideal candidate should bring a strong design sensibility, organizational skills, and be able to contribute across all phases of the design process. Knowledge in AutoCad is required. This is a great opportunity with a balance of creative, technical, and administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate will contribute to the growth of our studio and be an integral part of our projects and design imprint in and out of Charleston. 1-2 years of relevant experience. Architecture or Interior Design degree. JOB REQUIREMENTS The ideal candidate will have the following: Proficiency in Autocad, G-Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, EnscapeBalance several projects or project phases from concept through installation, with guidance from design leadsDevelop and present design concepts, reference imagery, mood boards, and material palettesPrepare client presentationsCreate and manage floor plans, elevations, and details using AutoCADBe able to hand sketch and/or 3D model ideasCommunicate directly with clients, contractors, and consultants throughout the project lifecycleConduct site visits, field measurements, and oversee installationsExcellent communication and organization skillsAssist with procurement, scheduling, and tracking of FF&ESome knowledge of millwork, FF&E, vendors To apply, please email your resume and sample work to studio@publicregard.com.
