We are a modern architecture firm focused on custom residential projects throughout the Hudson Valley. We are a creative, growing studio seeking a talented designer to join our team.
Job Description
We are looking for a Junior Architectural Designer who is driven, creative, and responsible. We work collaboratively and learn from each other in our studio. In this role, you will work closely on all aspects and phases of our projects, from Schematic Design to Construction Administration. Our current projects range from renovations and additions to new build ground-up construction. Your responsibilities will include drafting, developing details and construction methods, coordinating with consulting engineers, communicating with clients and builders, creating drawing sets, and working on small teams or working independently under the guidance of the principal architect.
Candidates must be available to work full time in our office and meet the following requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture0 - 5 years of professional office experienceStrong graphic representation skillsProficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUpExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalMust be eligible to work in the United StatesFluent in EnglishPossession of a valid driver's license and access to a reliable car
