INTERIOR STYLIST / PROJECT DESIGNER

ABOUT THE ROLE We are a San Diego-based residential property services company looking for a talented and self-motivated Interior Stylist to join our growing team. This is a full-ownership role. You will manage your own client projects from start to finish — from the initial walk-through and design selection all the way through installation and client communication. You will be the single point of contact for your clients and the person responsible for making sure every project is executed beautifully and on time. This is not a desk job and it is not a role for someone who only wants to design. You will be hands-on in the field, physically installing and styling the spaces you curate. If you love seeing your work come to life in a real room on the same day you designed it, this role will feel like a dream. WHAT YOU WILL DO -Walk properties with clients, assess the space, and develop a design plan - Select furniture, art, accessories, rugs, and lighting from our inventory to bring each space to life - Communicate directly with clients throughout the project -setting expectations, providing updates, and resolving issues independently when appropriate - Physically participate in the installation and staging of every project you design - Manage your own project schedule and coordinate with the logistics team on timing and delivery - Maintain accurate records of inventory used on each job - Represent the company professionally in every client and partner interaction WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Required: - 2+ years of experience in interior design, styling, or a closely related field - Comfortable with physical, hands-on work — this role involves lifting, arranging, and installing furnishings - Strong communication skills — you will be talking to clients directly and need to be professional, warm, and responsive - Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously without dropping the ball - Self-directed — you own your projects and do not need someone looking over your shoulder - Positive attitude and collaborative spirit — we are building a team culture we are proud of - Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred: - Experience in residential staging, model home design, or production-style design environments - Familiarity with inventory or project management software - Portfolio of completed residential interior projects - Knowledge of the San Diego residential real estate market WHAT WE OFFER - Competitive pay commensurate with experience - Full-time position with consistent hours - A creative, fast-paced work environment where no two days look the same - Real ownership over your work and your client relationships - Opportunity to grow with a company in an exciting period of change - Work across a wide range of San Diego properties — from urban condos to coastal homes WHO WE ARE We are a well-established San Diego property services company with deep roots in the local residential market.
