Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer / Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate has 5 to 7+ years of interior design experience, preferably with experience in residential high-end interiors, and is confident working with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal design teams.
We are a small firm with work throughout the nation, mainly in South Florida. We work with some of the top architects and builders in the United States. We are looking for someone to grow within the company and take advantage of the great opportunities for growth.
This position combines design and project management, requiring someone who can develop thoughtful interiors while also keeping track of schedules, vendors, and the many details that go into bringing a project together.
Responsibilities
Lead interior design projects from concept through completion
Develop and coordinate design concepts, furniture selections, finishes, materials, and accessories
Review drawings, elevations, and presentations while working closely with our Director of Interior Detailing
Source furniture, fabrics, wallcoverings, lighting, artwork, accessories, and other finishes
Obtain and review vendor pricing, quotes, samples, and lead times
Prepare project budgets proposals, purchase orders, and tracking documents
Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, vendors, and manufacturers
Manage project schedules, deadlines, deliveries, and installations
Conduct site visits, assist with installation and project closeout
Review shop drawings and submittals for design intent and accuracy
Identify and resolve project issues while maintaining quality and design standards
Communicate project updates, decisions, and outstanding items clearly and consistently
Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Qualifications
5 to 7+ years of professional interior design experience
Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field preferred
Strong understanding of furniture, finishes, materials, and interior detailing
Experience with project coordination, purchasing, budgeting, and vendor relationships
Ability to read architectural drawings and construction documents
Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Design Manager and other relevant design software
Excellent attention to detail with strong follow-through
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Develop strong relationships with clients and industry professionals
Willingness to travel to project sites and assist with installations when needed

Pay: $74,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
