Header Overview Join our dynamic team as an Interior Designer/Project Manager, where creativity meets precision to transform spaces into inspiring environments. In this role, you will lead residential interior design projects from concept through construction, ensuring each detail aligns with client visions and building codes. Your expertise in design software, project management, and construction documentation will drive successful project delivery while fostering strong client relationships. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape beautiful interiors while managing multiple projects with energy and professionalism. Responsibilities Develop innovative interior design concepts for residential projects, incorporating client preferences, space planning, and aesthetic principles. Create detailed drawings and presentations using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino3D, and Adobe Creative Suite to communicate design ideas effectively. Manage all phases of project execution, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and construction oversight to ensure timely completion within scope. Prepare comprehensive construction detail documentation and building information modeling (BIM) to facilitate seamless construction processes. Conduct building code analysis to ensure all designs are compliant with local regulations and safety standards. Collaborate closely with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to coordinate project activities and maintain clear communication throughout the process. Oversee renovation and remodeling projects, including mechanicals design and sales of lighting, plumbing, HVAC, sound, and smart products to enhance interior ambiance. Provide visually appealing presentations of selections for sales and pre-construction meetings (using Canva or other) Source product recommendations from all trade of varying price points, quality levels, etc. to align with client budget and allowances management Provide virtual selection input, recording, and management on project software Oversee and execute staging and coordination for photography and videography asset development Qualifications Proven experience in interior design with a strong portfolio showcasing residential projects and remodeling expertise. Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit), 3D modeling tools (SketchUp, Rhino3D), rendering programs (Adobe Photoshop), and graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite). Proficiency in BuilderTrend project management software Proficient with alternate project management tools such as Trello or Monday and/or AI assistant tools with training Solid understanding of building codes, construction detail documentation, and BIM methods for efficient project management. Excellent project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration. Knowledge of mechanical sales, lmechanicals design principles, and renovation processes is highly desirable.
