Interior Designer/Interior Architect - Workplace

Our Workplace Studio is growing, and we’re looking for an Interior Designer who’s ready to get hands-on across a range of project types and scales. In this role, you’ll flex your creativity, technical expertise, and strategic planning across workplace environments ranging from neighborhood nonprofits to Fortune 500 companies. It’s a position built for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership of their work, and wants to be involved in the full arc of a project—from early ideation to built results. What you’ll be doing: No two days are exactly the same, but you can count on a few constants. Including: Collaborating with a team of senior interior designers and architects throughout all phases of project design and production work, including programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, construction drawings and detailingEngage on diverse projects ranging from small to largeParticipate in construction administration and review of submittals and finish samplesCommunicate effectively with team lead and consultants across officesCreatively and eloquently presenting design concepts and ideas About you: A great match for our team is someone who has: A bachelor’s or master’s degree of Interior Design or Architecture4+ years of Interior Design or Architecture experienceAn exceptionally positive and curious attitudeA desire to work creatively within several concurrently tight deadlinesThe ability to connect and communicate with a spectrum of personalitiesExperience in Revit, SketchUp and Microsoft Office requiredKnowledge and aptitude in other design software platforms preferred, including but not limited to: CAD, Enscape, and CanvaWillingness to occasionally travel, as there may be limited travel required Why Baskervill?
