Interior Designer/Decorator Intern

Company Description We help real estate investors create profitable, well-designed short-term rentals. Our team is all about color, creativity, and designing "scroll-stopping" spaces for guests! We are looking for someone who can help us raise the bar in vacation rental design! Role Description This is a flexible, remote role for an Interior Designer/Decorator Intern at Homes by Diana. The Interior Designer/Decorator Intern will assist in creating new designs (interior decorating/furniture), generating ideas, creating mood boards for themes, and designing accent walls for guest photo ops. Responsibilities include selecting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), creating mood boards, and researching new ideas for designing short-term rentals with varying themes. We’re not looking for someone highly experienced – we want someone with a great eye for color, patterns, and trends, and someone who knows how to bring it all together in a space! Qualifications • Skills in Space Planning and Interior Decorating • Experience with Canva • Knowledge of FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) selection • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment • Existing portfolio or willingness to create mood boards/room boards to showcase your talent! This internship is a great opportunity for someone in college or high school looking to gain experience in interior decorating or learn the short-term rental world better.
