Interior Designer/Architectural Detailer – Job Description Job Summary: Tom Hoch Design (THD) is looking for a detail-orientated Interior Designer/Architectural Detailer to join our dynamic design team. Founded in 1963, THD is an industry leading hospitality firm based in Oklahoma City, OK, specializing in luxury retail, hospitality and residential design around the world. Designers should have 2 to 5 years of professional experience with strong technical skills and Construction Document experience. Ideal candidates will have a passion for great design and the desire to work on multiple scales of projects on teams. Job Details: Salary - To be negotiated based on applicant’s applicable experience Job Type - Full-time (Mon-Fri) Benefits: 401(k) Health Insurance Paid time off Duties and Tasks: Create presentation boards and client presentations Research, specify, and coordinate FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment) selections. Assist with finishes, materials, fabric, and color selections. Request pricing and prepare FF&E budgets and estimates. Obtain vendor quotes and compare pricing. Order and track finishes, furniture and material samples. Maintain communication with manufacturers, vendors, and sales representatives. Organize and maintain the materials library and sample inventory. Coordinate product information, lead times, and submittals. Assist with project documentation and specification packages. Support multiple projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards. Attend project meetings and assist with site visits as needed. Prepare and revise construction drawings in AutoCAD. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-motivated, and enjoys both the creative and technical aspects of interior design. This individual will play an important role in keeping projects moving efficiently while contributing innovative design ideas and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and manufacturers. It is also preferred that the candidate be experienced in hospitality, luxury residential and/or high-end commercial interior design. Qualifications: 2+ years of relevant professional interior design work experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD is required. Working knowledge of standard industry software including Revit, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of FF&E specification, sourcing, budgeting, and procurement. Strong understanding of materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and color coordination. Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. A positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with clients, consultants, and team members. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $40,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) Health insurance Paid time off Work Location: In person
