Following the successful launch of our Newport Beach showroom, we have experienced tremendous customer response, a growing number of interior design consultations, and increased demand for our services. As a result, we are seeking an experienced Interior Designer / Sales Associate to join our Newport Beach team. Who We Are Looking For We are seeking a highly motivated design professional who is passionate about luxury interiors and has experience working with high-end furnishings and discerning clientele. The ideal candidate is proactive, driven, and sales-oriented, with the ability to confidently present design concepts, build strong client relationships, and close sales. This individual thrives in a fast-paced showroom environment, enjoys working as part of a team, and is committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience from the initial consultation through project completion. Responsibilities Assist showroom clients and provide an elevated luxury retail experienceConduct in-showroom and in-home design consultationsPresent interior design services and custom furniture solutions confidently and professionallyDevelop mood boards, furniture layouts, floor plans, and design presentationsGenerate furniture and design proposals, quotes, and specificationsFollow up consistently with leads and clients to drive sales and project completionConvert showroom traffic into design projects and long-term client relationshipsWork closely with fellow designers and sales associates to achieve team goalsMaintain showroom standards, merchandising, and product knowledgeManage multiple projects while ensuring excellent customer service and attention to detail Qualifications Interior Design degree requiredMinimum 3 years of experience in interior design, luxury furnishings, or high-end furniture retailStrong knowledge of furniture, textiles, finishes, space planning, and design principlesProven ability to build client relationships and close salesExcellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skillsProfessional appearance and polished demeanorHighly organized, self-motivated, and detail-orientedTeam player with a positive attitude and strong work ethicComfortable working retail hours, including weekends Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary plus commissionSignificant earning potential based on performance If you are passionate about luxury interiors, enjoy working with sophisticated clientele, and are looking for an opportunity to grow with one of Southern California's leading design firms, we would love to hear from you.
