Design is seeking an Interior Designer with 5-10 years of experience to join us as part of a highly qualified boutique sized design team. Position Summary This talented and motivated Mid-Level Interior Designer will support the successful delivery of hospitality, multifamily, senior living, and commercial interior design projects. This position serves as a critical link between conceptual design and project execution, contributing to design innovation, client satisfaction, and project profitability. Candidates must have strong creative, technical, and organizational skills, with the ability to independently manage project responsibilities while collaborating effectively with internal teams, consultants, vendors, and clients. Primary Responsibilities Organize and manage assigned projects and related work, as directed by supervisorsSupervise and direct design support team to achieve project milestones and deliverablesConduct brand and market research with project specific analysisContribute concept designs and develop the approved design direction with coordinated specifics for the entire scope of the project.Conduct design research and product development for project specific implementationDevelop finish, furnishings and material selections/specificationsPrepare Client and Brand presentation materials. Deliverable items include rendered floor and ceiling plans, elevations and material/FFE/color boards.Prepare construction documentation including CAD drafting, detailing and FFE spec writing in keeping with FAID quality standards, industry standards and codes Qualifications Required Minimum 4 yrs bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of Interior Design or Interior Architecture program.5+ years professional experience in commercial interior design projectsMin. 3 years of Hospitality, Multi-family or Senior Living Design experienceAbility to manage responsibilities on concurrent projects with phased but potentially overlapping deadlinesAutoCAD, Photoshop, MS Suite (Excel/Word/Power Point) experience is mandatory.
