Interior Designer / Interior Architect - AE7

AE7 is looking for a talented Interior Designer and/or Interior Architect. Preferred candidates will have the ability to execute projects from concept through construction documentation with little supervision. Projects range from tenant fit‐out to stand alone buildings of all scales and sizes. General Responsibilities: We are seeking a well rounded individual to join our Pittsburgh interiors team. There is a current need for need for individuals that have specific interest and/or experience with one or more of the following markets: Multi-Family Residential, Corporate, Food & Beverage, Higher Education and Civic / Governmental. General Responsibilities: Responsibilities include concept, schematic, design development and construction documentation / specificationsFF&E selection / specificationDesign / detailing / documentation capabilitiesCode and accessibility review / complianceAble to manage / mentor graduate staffAble to coordinate consultants and other disciplines Qualities & Skills Required: Essential: Minimum of 5 years experience in Interior Design / Interior ArchitectureBachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related fieldStrong knowledge of IBC, ADA and life safety requirementsGood interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a teamAbility to work well under pressure and meet deadlines efficientlyStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong design and/or technical portfolioGood to excellent knowledge of Revit Desirable: Ability to use some of the following: Sketch up, Rhino, Grasshopper, Photoshop, InDesign and IllustratorNCIDQ certification or Architectural LicensureLEED / WELL Building / Passive House certificationInterest in Professional organizations and networking Qualified candidates should electronically submit a resume and portfolio to hr.northamerica@ae7.com with the job title of “Interior Designer / Interior Architect” in the Subject line.
