Key Responsibilities: Interior Selections: Curate and select interior materials and finishes (e.g., flooring, cabinetry, countertops, lighting, and fixtures) that align with David Weekley Homes’ design aesthetic and brand standards. Space Planning: Create functional, flow-focused space plans that maximize the use of every room while maintaining a stylish and cohesive design. Color Schemes: Develop color palettes and design themes that enhance the mood and functionality of each space, ensuring an inviting atmosphere for potential homeowners. Collaboration: Work closely with the 3D visualization team to bring design concepts to life in interactive, virtual home tours, ensuring all selections are accurately represented. Trend Research: Stay up to date with the latest interior design trends, materials, and technology to ensure our 3D models remain fresh, innovative, and on-brand. Customer Engagement: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to understand client preferences, demographics, and needs, tailoring designs to enhance buyer appeal. Quality Control: Ensure all selections, designs, and space plans adhere to David Weekley Homes' quality standards and functional requirements. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field. 2+ years of experience in residential interior design, preferably with a focus on homebuilding or model homes.
