Urban Foundry Architecture is looking for a bright, self-driven, and energetic Interior Designer / Furniture Specialist to join our team.
The ideal candidate is highly motivated and able to work both self-directed and in collaborative teams on complex projects. Your ability to problem-solve, meet deadlines, and assist the team in managing client expectations would make you an asset to our firm. This role is the perfect hybrid for an interior designer who has a passion for interior architecture and FF&E design and procurement.

Duties / Responsibilities
Creation and/or execution of design concepts
Creation of renderings, graphics, & presentation documents
Develop FF&E budgets, specifications, and bid packages
FF&E P.O. creation and procurement management
Working on projects from Programming through Construction Administration and through FF&E Installation
Code analysis & evaluation
Consultant management
Field verification
Client interaction & project presentations
Assist with maintaining & improving office design, detail, & specification standards
Industry best practices research and implementation
Collaboration with teammates
Desired Qualifications, Skills & Abilities
(3-7) years of relevant work experience
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design (CIDA accredited university)
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Bluebeam, Procore, Procurement Software, and AI software
Candidate desires to pursue NCIDQ path or has NCIDQ certification
Excellent communication & client relation skills
Efficiency in work process
Proactive critical path task management
Organized & detail oriented
Innate & strong design sense
Programming experience (preferred)
Strong space planning abilities
Commercial building & accessibility code knowledge
Design presentation experience (preferred)
Consultant interaction & management experience
Construction Administration experience
Commercial experience
Multi-family experience (preferred)
Furniture design, specification, and procurement experience (preferred)
