Role Description The Interior Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Auburn, WA, responsible for creating functional and visually appealing interior spaces for residential remodeling projects. Day-to-day tasks include meeting with clients to understand their needs, developing design concepts and mood boards, and producing floor plans, elevations, and construction drawings. The Interior Designer will select finishes, fixtures, and furnishings (FF&E), coordinate with project managers, contractors, and vendors, and ensure designs are executed accurately during construction. The role also includes preparing presentations, maintaining project documentation, and aligning designs with budget, timeline, and building standards. Qualifications Strong Interior Design skills, including concept development and material/finish selection.Proficiency in Space Planning and understanding of Architecture principles relevant to residential remodeling.Ability to create and interpret Construction Drawings and detailed documentation for contractors.Experience with FF&E selection and specification, including cabinetry, countertops, lighting, and furnishings.Competence with design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and standard office tools.Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to present and explain design solutions clearly.Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple projects and deadlines.Relevant education in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; professional experience in residential remodeling is preferred.
