We seek candidates who are both self-motivated and team players with a deep passion for the design and craft of interiors.In your new role, you will: Actively contribute to dynamic, collaborative teams across diverse project typesEngage proactively in team discussions and ideation at all levelsWork closely and collaboratively with senior designers to develop and execute design concepts and strategiesLead key aspects of project development while providing mentorship, guidance, and direction to junior team membersProvide design and documentation support for projects of varying scope and complexityDevelop and refine design concepts and finish palettes throughout all project phasesStay curious and committed to continuous learningWhat you will need to succeed: 3-6 years of professional experience in Interior Design with a background corporate or commercial interiors Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Interior Design or Interior ArchitectureLEED or WELL Accreditation, or willingness to pursue within 18 months of hireProven client leadershipStrong conceptual design and schematic design skillsStrong verbal and graphic communication skillsAbility to lead aspects of work with design directionDemonstrated knowledge of Revit, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Rhino and/or 3DS MaxCreation of presentation books and materialsExperience with researching, selecting and specifying materials and finishesAbility to work in a collaborative, open environment Skills: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Air Intelligence Agency (AIA), Autodesk 3ds Max (fka 3D Studio Max), Communication Skills, Interior Design, Leadership, Mentoring, Presentation/Verbal Skills, Project Development, RGB Color Model, Research Skills, Rhino, Schematics, Support Documentation, Team Player About the Company: NBBJ LP
