INTERIOR DESIGNER / VIRTUAL DESIGN CONSULTANT Radford Woodworks | Indianapolis, IN | 1099 Contract | Mostly Remote | Flexible Hours | $25-30/hr + booking bonus We build custom millwork around Indianapolis — accent walls, wainscoting, board and batten, fireplace build-outs, built-ins and coffered ceilings. Our marketing works almost too well: when we turn the ads on, inquiries stack up faster than one owner can handle. That's where you come in. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Be the first friendly contact for new leads — gather photos, dimensions and style direction - Turn those photos into design concepts and renderings (we'll train you on our AI-assisted design workflow) - Run virtual consultations over video — walk homeowners through their design and price with no in-home visit needed - Quote projects straight from our price book — every service has a set price so you're never guessing numbers - Keep leads organized and followed up in Jobber (our CRM) HOW YOU'LL RAMP UP - First 60 days: you design and present while the owner reviews every quote before it goes out - After that: you quote standard projects solo up to $8K — bigger and custom work stays a team effort - You earn a bonus for every consultation that turns into a booked project WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR - 2-5 years of residential interior design experience or a portfolio that proves it - Great on camera and on the phone — you make homeowners feel comfortable and excited - A solid eye for trim, molding and wall treatments — millwork or construction knowledge is a big plus - Comfortable picking up new tools — SketchUp, Canva or AI design tool experience helps - Organized and self-directed — you set your own schedule and manage your own follow-ups - Indianapolis area — mostly remote but we meet up occasionally and you may visit a job site now and then PAY AND STRUCTURE - $25-30/hr depending on experience, invoiced as a 1099 contractor - Bonus for every consultation that books - Flexible workload that scales with lead volume — some weeks lighter, some heavier - Real growth potential: as our marketing scales, so does this role HOW TO APPLY Send a short intro and a few examples of your work (portfolio link, Instagram or photos of spaces you've designed) to derrick@radfordwoodworks.com.
