About this role

Overview Home Design by Annie is seeking a highly creative, self-motivated, and energized Interior Designer to join our team. This role is suited for a designer who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about finding unique solutions to complex design dilemmas. You should be prepared to "do a little bit of everything" in a fast-paced, flexible studio setting. Core Responsibilities Design & Space Planning: Assist in designing and consulting on general interior architectural spatial planning, specifically focusing on furniture floor plans and cabinetry concepts. Selection & Specification: Manage the selection of furniture, fabrics, decorative objects, and architectural finishes. This includes gathering procurement information such as lead times, pricing, and logistics. Technical Production: Utilize AutoCAD, 3D modeling software, and AI tools to prepare wireframe renderings, hand sketches, and technical design files for client communication. Project Management: Oversee project budgets and timelines while maintaining professional relationships with clients, vendors, and trades. Administrative Support: Maintain organized client files, manage project schedules, and utilize QuickBooks and Google Suites for daily business operations. Communication & Collaboration Provide team-facing support and participate in meetings, phone conferences, and on-site visits. Take accurate notes, prepare meeting agendas, and manage client meeting time effectively. Act as a proactive, loyal team player who communicates clearly with the Project Management team to execute approved items. Qualifications & Skills Education: Undergraduate degree in Interior Design. Experience: at least 3–5 years of experience in a design position is required. Technical Proficiency: Required mastery of AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop). Proficiency in Design Manager, Google Suites and QuickBooks is preferred. Attributes: High standards for organization, strong "people skills," and a proactive, self-starter mentality. Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
