Our company values include: Investing in People Achieving the Extraordinary Serving with Humility Finding Fun in Our Work Committing to Mutual Success Fearlessly Exploring Striving for Authenticity What will make you successful: • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field. • Minimum of 8 years of relevant interior design experience, with K-12 facility experience preferred. • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit. • Strong creative and artistic skills, with the ability to translate ideas into tangible designs. • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards. • Experience managing multiple interior design projects, including budget management. • Familiarity with sustainable design principles. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. What you will get to do: • Needs Assessment: Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to determine design goals, functional requirements, and the specific needs of the space. • Interior Construction Drawings: Develop detailed interior construction documents, optimizing space utilization, traffic flow, and functionality while ensuring compliance with building codes. • Interior Design Concepts: Create design concepts, mood boards, and presentations that align with the facility's purpose and desired atmosphere. • Furniture and Fixtures Selection: Select appropriate furniture, fixtures, and materials to enhance the functionality and aesthetics of the facility. • Color and Material Palette: Choose color schemes, materials, and finishes that align with the design concept. • Sustainable Design: Integrate environmentally friendly design practices, promoting sustainability and energy efficiency. • Collaboration: Work closely with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure seamless integration of interior design elements. • 3D Visualization: Use CAD software and visualization tools to create models, renderings, and virtual walkthroughs for client presentations. • Budget Management: Manage project budgets, including cost estimates for materials and labor. • Project Implementation: Oversee construction and installation activities, managing timelines and addressing any challenges. • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure projects meet all building codes, accessibility guidelines, and regulatory standards.
