Position Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Interior Design Showroom Consultant to assist clients in selecting products and designing home interiors that reflect their style and needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, excellent communication skills, and experience with a range of interior products including flooring, furniture, wallpaper, fabric, and window treatments.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers in the showroom with professionalism and warmthProvide design consultations, helping clients choose coordinated products for their spacesOffer expert knowledge on flooring, furniture, window treatments, wallpaper, and accessoriesManage sales transactions and follow up with clients from start to finishMaintain showroom appearance and merchandise displaysRequest vendor quotes, and create estimates and proposalsProcess orders, manage project files & assist with schedulingMonitor, track, and follow up on progress of orders and purchases to ensure accuracy and timelines are metStay updated on design trends and product knowledgeQualifications:
Background in flooring or interior design preferred
Strong knowledge of home décor products and flooring a plus
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and manage multiple client projects simultaneously
Proficiency with design software or Quickbooks is a plus
