As the Design Sales Consultant, you will provide interior design and product selection advice, product expertise, and thorough follow-up to enhance customer experiences and influence purchasing decisions. Skills • Interior design and product expertise • Sales and customer engagement skills • Proficiency in Auto-CAD and project management • Strong communication skills – oral, written, and interpersonal • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills • Familiarity with MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Responsibilities • Provide interior design advice and facilitate tile and stone selection for customers • Log all client showroom visits, contact information, and customer preferences in CMT • Prospect for new business, emphasizing relationships with Custom Builders and Residential Designers • Maintain showroom samples and merchandising, ensuring compliance with marketing standards • Plan and host showroom tours and events to drive customer sales • Attend trade events to develop industry relationships and brand awareness Qualifications • Four-year degree in a related field or four years of related experience; or a combination of a two-year degree with two years of related experience • Competencies in sales/customer engagement, design, and customer service • Ability to conceptualize innovative solutions in unfamiliar situations Education Requirements • Four-year degree in a related field or relevant experience Education Requirements Credential Category • Degree in Design, Architecture, or a related field preferred Experience Requirements • Minimum of four years in a related role or equivalent experience • Proficiency with Auto-CAD and showroom management preferred Why work in Oklahoma City, OK Oklahoma City is a thriving metropolis that offers a unique blend of urban and outdoor living.
