Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Cornelius, NC. The Interior Designer will meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budgets, and translate those requirements into thoughtful design concepts and space plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include networking to find potential customers, coverage at the store location to assist walk-in traffic, and preparing visual presentations and mood boards. The role also involves overseeing installations, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and aligned with client expectations. The Interior Designer will maintain clear communication with clients and vendors, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and contribute to a welcoming, service-oriented showroom environment. Qualifications Strong skills in Space Planning to optimize flow, function, and comfort within residential environments.Experience working with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and presentation tools.Excellent client-facing communication, active listening, and relationship-building skills.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.Prior interior design experience in residential or retail showroom settings is preferred
