Position Overview
We are a Miami based interior design studio focused on luxury residential projects. We are seeking an experienced Interior Design Project Manager to lead the full operational execution of our projects — from procurement and vendor coordination to on-site management and client communication.
Our projects are located across the Greater Miami area, including Miami Beach, Coral Gables, and Boca Raton.
This role is designed for a self-directed professional with a strong background in residential interior design project delivery. The ideal candidate operates independently, owns their workload, and brings structure and accountability to every project they touch.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations across multiple active residential interior design projects
Oversee the full FF&E procurement cycle: sourcing, purchasing, order tracking, and delivery coordination
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and status reports
Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, contractors, and trade suppliers
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure quality standards are met
Coordinate showroom visits and assist with material, finish, and furniture selections
Maintain accurate project documentation including purchase orders, invoices, and delivery logs
Facilitate clear and professional communication between the studio, clients, and all project stakeholders
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in interior design project management or FF&E coordination
Demonstrated ability to independently manage high-end residential projects from start to finish
Professional fluency in English — written and verbal — is required; strong command of English is essential for client communication and vendor management
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
Experience managing vendor and contractor relationships
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or comparable design or project management software
Ability and willingness to travel to project sites across Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties, including Coral Gables and Boca Raton
Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
Based in Miami, FL (required)
Preferred Qualifications
Spanish proficiency is a plus, particularly for contractor and supplier communication
Established vendor and contractor network in the Miami / South Florida market
Experience with procurement or project management platforms such as Studio Designer, Ivy, or Monday.com
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
